Year 8 CWSA (Children with Special Abilities) students produced two movies to highlight the problems associated with too many cars on our roads. The movies promote sustainable forms of transport; like walking, cycling, carpooling, and public transport.

TravelWise: Thinking Transport

Everyday thousands of Auckland school children travel to and from schools, over half of these are car trips.

TravelWise is a programme run by the Auckland Regional Transport Authority (ARTA). The overall goal is to reduce car trips to school across the region and reduce the problems caused by too many cars on the road.

TravelWise promotes and encourages school children to think about sustainable forms of travel as better travel options to car trips.
